About the Event
ALA member Louanne DiBella has been a life-long student and teacher of art. She grew up in Clinton and Madison CT where she studied with muralist, Lydia Booth and portrait painter, Jack Richards at the Robert Brachman School. With a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she was able to enjoy a long, successful career as a fashion jewelry designer. Louanne is inspired by the abundant beauty of the New England landscape and she loves connecting with community members through the joy of art-making.
Louanne is offering to start a social/art group here at Amston Lake. This is not a class, but rather an opportunity for our lake artists to get together. All skill levels are welcome - just bring your own supplies whether a sketch pad, easel and paints, watercolors or your favorite media - and of course a snack! Also, please bring a chair or stool for your comfort. She hopes to make this a regular event - meeting at various spots around the lake.
